Grief leaves us with a swirl of conflicting feelings on the inside. We want a hug, but we want to be left alone, we don’t know if we are coming or going…and we don’t want to have to explain ourselves or defend our behaviors.

What if we gave ourselves permission to be right where we are and answer the question “how are you” honestly?
