There are many habits of grief avoidance. These are habits we learn from our families and friends. When we follow through on habits like keeping busy, intellectualizing and/or distracting ourselves from our grief, we find that we are left with stuck energy. Stuck energy can look like clutter, long to do lists, sinks stacked with dishes, closets overflowing…how do we work with the stuck energy and emerge on the other side?
